Music is 50% of the experience for the target audience.

Do you know how to talk about it so you get what you want?

And your client gets what they need?

Let’s face it; music is hard to talk about. Some of our clients confess that music is the one aspect of production they know the least about. The brave ones even share their fears, saying things like;

-I don’t know music and get intimidated talking to experts.
-Will a composer be angry if I share a CD of the music I like?
-In the past the composer didn’t understand me and kept missing it.
-The demo kinda works but I’m not sure what else it needs.
-The client is asking me musical questions which I can't answer.

This lack of knowledge is unfortunate since music can represent 50% of the viewer take-away from a piece of communication.

So we created a music workshop that gives people all the tools necessary to communicate effectively. It’s called “How To Speak Composer.”

The Workshop is free, takes about 45 minutes, and can be done right at your location.

It shows you how to get better work, faster. And covers topics such as;

-How to use plain English to describe what you need
-How to evaluate demos so you get what you really want
-How pre-scores can change your life
-How to get tracks approved easily by your client
-How “playing against type” stimulates grey matter

It’s fun and utterly practical. With examples of musical solutions on car spots, fast food, and sneakers.

Past participants include: Goodby, Target, BBH, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Saatchi, Wieden+Kennedy, JWT, DDB, BBDO Y&R, DraftFCB.
